Save the Date! Saturday, August 3rd will be the 9th “C-U in the Prairibbean” concert hosted by The Eastern Illinois Parrothead Club. Bands include Appaloosa, The Ton’s O Fun Band and of course The Boat Drunks.Find more information thru the Parrotheads website or you can visit DSC online.
If you aren’t familiar with DSC it is an amazing organization focused on increasing the independence of individuals with disabilities. I really can’t explain it any better than their mission statement: “Our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing services and supports which enable them to live, work, learn and participate in their communities.”
Take a few minutes and check out the DSC website. You will be amazed at what they accomplish.
