I had a bit of excitement this past week after being contacted by Barbara Corcoran, the Today Show’s resident real estate expert. Her staff found my online marketing for, 1702 Yorkshire in Champaign, IL, and thought it would be a great fit for their 6/19 segment “What Can You Buy From Nashville to Salt Lake City”
Hosted by Al Roker, it’s a pretty interesting segment but if you want to skip to the section on Champaign it starts 4:05 into the clip (link to commercial free video or link to MSNBC video with commercials) I’d also like to give Rod Clinton, the photographer that provides my virtual tours, credit for taking the photos. As you can tell, it’s an awesome house (link to detailed info on the home).
They offer a bit of ’staging’ advice on the wallpaper. In general, it’s a good idea to de-personalize your home and removing wall paper is one way to do it.
